De Dietrich Remeha and Baxi make a strong showing at Mostra Convegno

23 March 2010 The Mostra Convegno Expocomfort exhibition was held in Milan from 23 to 27 March 2010 and is the world’s most visited event in the HVAC. This essential event for the major brands of BDR Thermea, including De Dietrich Remeha and Baxi, was an opportunity not only to present their products but also to reach out to their distributors and customers. A parallel presence enabled each to assert its identity.

The Mostra Convegno is especially dedicated to the Italian market and international business. The approach of the brands De Dietrich, Remeha and Sofath was to present its products that were specific to these markets, particularly the presentation of wall-hung boilers in cascade in cabinets, a system which is very widespread in Italy. The fair provided the opportunity to present new and established distribution businesses. As of this year De Dietrich products are imported into Italy by DUEDI, a new distribution company. Remeha products will also in future be distributed by REVIS under the Paradigma brand, as has been done successfully in the past. SOFATH products will continue to be distributed by Gheo Srl. Sofath, the specialist in geothermal heat pumps.

The approach of the Baxi brand on the Mostra Convegno Exhibition focussed on the changing demand in the market. Specialist and users are no longer simply interested in a single boiler but in a system capable of always ensuring the maximum domestic comfort with significant savings and a low environmental impact. For many years, the Baxi offer in Italy has been evolving towards integrated solutions and consequently provides the logical solution to the market’s most recent requirements. With this philosophy in mind, Baxi promoted the concept of full system integration of energy sources and technologies for the best result in terms of comfort, efficiency and environmental impact. Baxi presented several case histories of integrated systems (autonomous or centralized) in which the core is represented by the new Luna condensing boilers targeting both new building and replacement for different type / sizes of dwellings (single house, semidetached house, apartments etc).

From a communication point of view, this concept was promoted by the pay-off “Scelte Intelligenti – Sistemi Integrati / Smart choices – Integrated systems” reminiscent of the 2009 Marketing campaign. This campaign, named “Scelte Intelligenti”, has the objective to ensuring end users understand the HE boilers replacement opportunity and uses savings, efficiency and condensing technology as its core message.

By the time of the event, the pay off had been enriched by the Sistemi Integrati / Integrated systems concept signifying the importance for Baxi of delivering complete systems whose different technologies “communicate” with each other to always guarantee comfort, efficiency and low environmental impact.

At the end of the exhibition, several thousands of visitors were welcomed at the stands of De Dietrich Rmeha and Baxi, where they have been informed about the products and their opportunities. BDR Thermea can look back on a highly successful edition of the Mostra Convegno!
